Dr Abnish Advances to the Third Round Training on IKS

Bareilly: Dr. Abnish Singh Chauhan, Professor and Head, Department of English, and Principal, BIU College of Humanities and Journalism at Bareilly International University, has been selected for Discipline Specific Training Programme (DSTP) on Indian Knowledge System (IKS). This prestigious training will be held at Vasant College for Women, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, from June 24 to 27, 2024.

 

Dr. Shalini, the Deputy Secretary of University Grants Commission, conveyed the news through email to Dr. Chauhan on June 4, 2024. She said that DSTP aims to provide subject-specific training to distinguished candidates, enhancing their understanding and proficiency in IKS.

 

On receiving the email, Dr. Chauhan expressed his feelings thus: "I am happy to reach the third round." He extended his heartfelt thanks to his respected father and mother Shri Prahlad Singh Chauhan and Smt Uma Chauhan for their unwavering support. He also expressed gratitude to Dr. Lata Aggarwal, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Bareilly International University, Dr. S.K. Thakur, Registrar, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Maheshwari, Coordinator- NAAC, Dr. Atul Singhal, Mr. Sanchit Aggarwal, the Principals of other constituent colleges of the university and his colleagues and students.

 

DSTP on IKS is a significant opportunity for Dr. Chauhan to deepen his expertise and contribute to the academic community. His selection highlights his dedication to advancing knowledge and education in his field.
