Peer Review Policy

Creation and Criticism (CC), which is a quarterly international peer-reviewed refereed English e-journal, is quite friendly to researchers and scholars. The journal employs a double-blind peer review process, ensuring that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to one another. It is committed to create the research environment and, hence, invites original and authentic creative / critical matter from them. The received research papers, after screening for plagiarism, are sent to the referees for their opinions regarding their suitability for publication. Regarding approval or rejection of the submission, the authors are communicated with the decision of the referees within ONE WEEK of the respective deadline of the submission.

Initial Screening

1. Editorial Review: All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial assessment by the editorial team to ensure:

  • Relevance to the journal’s scope
  • Originality, including plagiarism checks using detection software
  • Compliance with submission guidelines

2. Manuscripts that meet these criteria are forwarded for double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts in the appropriate field.

Peer Review Process and Timeline

Since Creation and Criticism publishes monthly issues, it follows an expedited but rigorous peer review workflow:

  • Manuscript Assignment: Within 7 days of submission, suitable manuscripts are assigned to expert reviewers.
  • Review Duration: Reviewers provide feedback within 2–3 weeks of receiving the manuscript.
  • Decision and Revisions: Authors receive reviewer feedback and are expected to submit revisions, if required, within 1–2 weeks.
  • Final Decision: The editorial team evaluates the revised manuscript before making a final decision regarding acceptance.
