Bareilly, September 14, 2025 – Dr. H. K. Premi, Controller of Examinations at Bareilly International University (BIU) and former Principal of Rohilkhand Medical College & Hospital, passed away today. He merged into the five elements of nature, leaving this mortal world for his eternal journey.

Throughout his life, Dr. Premi was regarded as a symbol of honesty, dedication, and scholarship. He made remarkable contributions to the fields of education and medicine, and played a pivotal role in institutional development. His life remained devoted to knowledge, service, and humanity, earning him immense respect in academic and social circles alike.

Hon’ble Chancellor, Pro-Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor, and other university officials termed his demise an irreparable loss to the academic fraternity as well as to society at large, noting that the void will be felt for years to come.

The faculty and staff members of the University also expressed their deep condolences, praying for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family members and well-wishers in this hour of grief.
